The Regional Sales Associate is responsible for providing territory support to the Regional Sales Manager. This person will be responsible for developing new client relationships as well as maintaining current relationships in the assigned territory, supporting the preparation and delivery of prospect/client proposals and contracts including necessary follow-up, maintaining and updating the CRM system with Sales activity, arranging prospect/client activity, and coordinating regional activities,. The position requires previous sales and/or sales support experience. Frequent interaction with payroll, finance and human resources professionals, peers and various levels of management is necessary. This position is responsible for establishing a high level of customer service for all clients.
At least five years of experience in a sales and/or sales support role. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously. Self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with others. Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite including SharePoint and CRM applications; Salesforce experience a plus. This position is required to travel. Excellent interpersonal skills displayed in interaction with all levels of employees and management. This position must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
