Position Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Manager of Managed Services who will be responsible for managing and overseeing activities in the Managed Services department. Supervisory responsibilities include managing employees, determining work schedules for the department, ensuring training needs are met, conducting performance evaluations and employee relations. Client management includes working with clients to determine ongoing needs, managing workloads, adherence to service levels and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services. This position requires previous payroll management/human resources, project management and management experience. Frequent interaction with payroll and human resources professionals, peers and various levels of management is necessary. Supports the operations of the corporate office and assists in establishing a high level of customer service for all clients.

Minimum Requirements:

At least two years of payroll and/or human resources experience; five years of payroll processing and/or oversight; seven years of management experience. Demonstrated success in the leading and managing of people in a team-based environment. Must be team focused, very organized and possess a great sense of prioritization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong problem solving skills. Ability to build a team, set priorities and resolve problems is critical. Strong management experience with ability to handle high stress situations as well as demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects. computer skills; knowledge of MS Office products; strong working knowledge of Ultimate Software, Ceridian, ADP and other payroll systems. Strong knowledge of payroll practices, payroll tax and employment laws. Ability to maintain high levels of service for customers. Payroll and/or HR certification preferred. Position requires extensive travel to work at client locations, including travel by commercial aircraft and motor vehicle. Position will require employee be able to carry sufficient luggage for his or her personal needs during such travel, often for periods of one week, along with the transport of a laptop computer, computer bag and files weighing an average of 10 lbs. Position will require the ability to load such items into vehicles as needed, to transport them in and out of lodging and work locations as needed, and to lift such materials into vehicles and overhead aircraft bins as may be required. Position may require sitting at a desk, typing, inputting data and/or reviewing documents for protracted periods during a full work day.
