Position Description:

Implementation/On-boarding Consultant uses his/her knowledge of the fundamentals of Payroll, and/or Payroll Tax Processing, Human Resources, and Benefits when transitioning payroll duties from the client to the PayTech Managed Services department, to include training of staff. Educate/train PTMS staff on identifying and implementing process improvements, assessing payroll system utilization, developing documentation, and facilitating tax reporting and year-end processes.

Minimum Requirements:

At least seven (7) years demonstrated payroll experience with demonstrated understanding of key components of payroll processing, HR, and Benefits.  A working knowledge of multiple payroll systems, including Ceridian, ADP, and/or Ultimate as well as a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and report writer/query.

Ability to provide recommendations to clients utilizing industry payroll best practices.  Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.  Works independently and is skilled in handling multiple tasks and priorities.  Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of employees and management, proven oral and written communication skills, and strong client relationship building skills.  Human Resources and Payroll Tax experience a plus.  CPP Certification preferred.

Position may require some travel to work at client locations, including travel by commercial aircraft and motor vehicle.  Position will require employee be able to carry sufficient luggage for his or her personal needs during such travel, often for periods of one week, along with the transport of a laptop computer, computer bag and files weighing an average of 10 lbs.  Position will require the ability to load such items into vehicles as needed, to transport them in and out of lodging and work locations as needed, and to lift such materials into vehicles and overhead aircraft bins as may be required. Position may require sitting at a desk, typing, inputting data and/or reviewing documents for protracted periods during a full work day.
